A film about the great Turkmen poet and thinker Makhtumkuli Fraghi, created by the International Information Center of Turkmenistan, has been nominated for the prestigious Prix Italia award. This is reported by the Internet edition “Türkmenistan Habarlar Portaly".
The award-nominated film tells about the life and creative path of the recognized classic of Turkmen literature Makhtumkuli Fraghi. The film contains many interesting historical facts and interviews of representatives of scientific circles.
Prix Italia is a prestigious world award that considers worthy applicants in four categories - drama, television, documentaries and radio. Currently, the prize organizers have received more than 250 applications for the award from all over the world.
Turkmenistan in 2023 became the only state in Central Asia to take part in the prestigious award.
