Sending gas from Turkmenistan via Turkey will contribute to Europe's energy security

Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz said during his speech at the informal summit of the TNA member states in Azerbaijan that the supply of Turkmen gas through the territory of Turkey will contribute to the national welfare of the country and ensure energy security of Europe. This is reported by the Internet edition “Türkmenistan Habarlar Portaly". 

During his speech, Cevdet Yılmaz also noted that the Turkish side positively assesses the formation of the energy mechanism within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States and aims at further development of cooperation in this direction.

The Vice President stressed that there is a change in the world energy centers and an increase in the importance of the geography of Turkic states.
