Foreign Minister presents Turkmenistan at OSCE Ministerial Council

At at the 27th Ministerial Council of the OSCE, Turkmenistan was represented by the deputy head of the Cabinet of Ministers and the head of the Foreign Ministry, R. Meredov.

The online meeting, which began on December 3, addressed regional and international issues, as well as key areas of cooperationeconomics, ecology, and the humanities. Particular emphasis was placed on security and human rights because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Speaking to diplomats, R. Meredov reaffirmed our country's readiness for multifaceted interaction with the OSCE and presented Turkmenistan's position in the following areas: ensuring security and sustainable development, strengthening integration processes, addressing environmental and humanitarian issues.
