Today, Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov held a meeting with European Union Special Representative for Central Asia Teri Hakala in the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The agenda of the meeting included issues of cooperation and prospects for its further development between Turkmenistan and the European Union. Environmental protection, "green" and digital transformation, education, energy and transportation and logistics were named among the promising areas of partnership.
The sides discussed topical issues related to the forthcoming joint conference of Turkmenistan and the EU in honor of the 30th anniversary of cooperation, as well as organizational arrangements for the upcoming ministerial conference in the format of "Central Asia - European Union" in Ashgabat.
