Racers of Turkmenistan take part in the Silk Road-2024 rally

A team of Turkmen drivers is taking part in the international rally "Silk Road-2024", which runs along the route "Tomsk - Ulan Bator". This is reported by the Internet edition Centralasia.news. 

This year the Turkmenistan national team is represented in the off-road category by four crews: Merdan and Shohrat Toiliev (Nissan), Meilis Abdullaev and Italmaz Charyev (Nissan), Maksatmyrat Danatarov and Didar Orazmedov (Nissan), Shamyrat and Muhammetmyrat Gurbanov (Toyota). In addition to Turkmenistan, 117 drivers from Russia, Mongolia, Belarus and China are represented in this year's tournament.

In recent years, the number of Turkmenistan's representatives winning in prestigious races has been increasing, which testifies to the active development of motor sports in the country.
