Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister meets with the Head of the UN Children's Fund Office

Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Merdov met with the Head of UNICEF Office in the country Jalpa Ratna on June 12, 2024. This is reported by the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, Jalpa Ratna presented copies of her credentials to the Foreign Minister. Rashid Meredov congratulated the newly appointed Head of UNICEF Office on the responsible post, wishing successful implementation of activities aimed at strengthening cooperation between Turkmenistan and the authoritative international organization.

The parties recognized the high level of constructive dialogue between Turkmenistan and UNICEF and identified priority vectors for further development of partnership relations. Rashid Meredov emphasized that Turkmenistan adheres to a comprehensive approach to ensuring conditions for the comprehensive development of children and protection of their health.
