A collection of selected poems of the great Turkmen poet Makhtumkuli Fraghi, translated into Chinese, was presented at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan on December 25 this year. It is reported on the website of the country's foreign policy department.
The presentation ceremony was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, teachers and students of the IMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, members of diplomatic missions accredited in the country, heads of consulates and diplomatic missions of Turkmenistan in other countries, as well as journalists.
Among the honored guests of the event was Chinese Ambassador to Turkmenistan Qian Naicheng, who delivered a speech to the guests. He noted that the publication of Makhtumkuli's collection in Chinese gives an opportunity to strengthen the effective cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries.
