The Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of Malaysia is scheduled to visit Turkmenistan in 2024

On January 24, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Malaysia M. Mashalov met with the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of Malaysia Tan Sri Dato' Johari Abdul. This is reported by the online edition of "Türkmenistan Habarlar Portaly".

During the talks, it was noted that the establishment of a parliamentary friendship group between the Mejlis of Turkmenistan and the Parliament of Malaysia is of particular importance in strengthening inter-parliamentary bilateral cooperation.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of Malaysia expressed his intention to make a working visit to Turkmenistan in 2024. In this context, he noted that mutual visits of parliamentarians of the two countries will contribute to strengthening the political dialog between Turkmenistan and Malaysia.
