The premiere of the song "Heroes of the Immortal Regiment" based on the poems of Turkmen writer, poet and playwright Hemra Shirov will be held in Ashgabat on Victory Day. This is reported by the Internet publication "TurkmenPortal".
The author of the new song was the writer's daughter, composer, teacher of the composition department of the Turkmen National Conservatory, doctoral student of Strasbourg University, winner of national and international competitions Aina Shirova.
According to Hemra Shirova, this song has already been performed in Russia by the vocal ensemble Anima of the music college in Ivanovo. The lyrics were translated into Russian by Aina Shirova.
In Turkmenistan, the song will be performed by singer, winner of the State Prize Türkmeniň Altyn asyry Bahar Durdyeva on May 9 during the concert "Masterpieces of Classics" at the Turkmenistan Cinema and Concert Hall. The song will also be performed on May 10 during the concert "Letters from the Front" by the Tahir Ataev Orchestra.
