On June 10, a job fair for TechYouth Bootcamp program graduates was held at the Archabil Hotel in the capital city. The goal of the event was to help professionals start an exciting career. This is reported in the material provided by USAID's Modern Skills Development Project (YDA) in Turkmenistan.
USAID YDA's TechYouth Bootcamp program, conducted in collaboration with the Sanly Bilim Training Center, was an intensive six-month full-immersion course in one of the currently in-demand specialties: website development, mobile application development, graphic and UI/UX design, and IT equipment administration and maintenance.
At the beginning of the job fair, graduates of the program received certificates of completion. After that, representatives of 15 large companies interviewed the novice specialists who had undergone intensive training.
Based on the results of the interviews, many graduates of the program were selected to be hired for vacant IT positions.
