Dashoguz province of Turkmenistan prepared for the season of silkworm cocoons harvesting

Agricultural enterprises of Dashoguz reported on their readiness for the cocoons harvesting season. This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

Silk farming as one of the promising areas of agriculture in Turkmenistan is actively supported by the state. This year it is planned to harvest 500 tons of mulberry silkworm cocoons. All necessary measures have been taken in Dashoguz province for this purpose.

Preparation of worm farms and hatcheries is nearing completion, with temperature and humidity levels being maintained. Active measures are being taken to ensure the fodder base - effective care of mulberry plantations is carried out. Thousands of mulberry tree seedlings are planted along the perimeter of agricultural areas.

Today, rural people are increasingly interested in the production of silk cocoons due to the large-scale agro-industrial improvement measures undertaken by the government.
