On August 14, a ceremony of presenting credentials to the King of Cambodia Norodom Sihamoni was held at the Royal Palace. M. Mashalov was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Kingdom of Cambodia (with residence in Kuala Lumpur). This is reported by the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.
During the ceremony, the Turkmen diplomat conveyed words of greetings to the King and the friendly people of Cambodia from the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The King of Cambodia, in turn, conveyed return greetings to President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and addressed wishes of peace, well-being and prosperity to the Turkmen people.
