Turkmenistan is actively popularizing book reading among young people

The State Children's Library of Turkmenistan named after Bazar Amanov is actively holding various events aimed at popularizing book reading among the younger generation. The library has planned a number of meetings, lectures and discussions to interest young people in literature and book culture, Turkmenistan Golden Age was informed.

The exhibition organized at the State Academy of Arts, timed to coincide with the 300th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding poet Makhtumkuli Fraghi, deserves special attention. The exhibition presents various publications dedicated to his life and works. Students of the Academy will have an opportunity not only to get acquainted with these books, but also to take part in the contest of their own art works on the theme of the famous poet's image.
