The seventh round of data collection of the multi-indicator cluster survey started today in Turkmenistan with the support of UNICEF and the UN Population Fund. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
The Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey is a household survey program developed by the UN Children's Fund. MICS provides an opportunity to collect key indicators to assess the situation of women and children and to monitor the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals in Turkmenistan.
For the implementation of the Program, 6,800 households in the territory of the country have been selected, where a survey will be conducted, including questions on health, nutrition, education and social protection. The survey will be conducted until April 2024.
