Turkmenistan will host a conference of culture ministers

An international conference with the participation of culture ministers dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of Makhtumkuli Fraghi will be held in Ashgabat on May 17-18. This is reported by the Internet publication "Vestiabad".

The program of the international event on May 17 includes the opening ceremony of the cultural and park complex "Makhtumkuli Fraghi" and the monument of the poet. On May 18, the work of the conference will continue in the library and museum of the State Cultural Center and the Turkmen State Institute of Culture.

The sessions will address issues related to the life and creative heritage of Makhtumkuli Fraghi, his contribution to the world culture. A visit to the National Museum of Turkmen carpets and the city of Arkadag will be organized for foreign guests, where a performance of the equestrian group "Galkynysh" will be held.
