On May 14, an international scientific conference dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of Makhtumkuli Fraghi organized by the Turkmen diplomatic mission was held in the building of the City Hall of Yeongsan district of Seoul, Republic of Korea. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The conference was attended by heads and staff of the Secretariat of the Central Asia-Republic of Korea Cooperation Forum, heads of diplomatic missions accredited in the Republic of Korea, scientists, representatives of creative intellectuals, media and students.
Speakers at the conference noted the development of fruitful relations between the countries in the cultural and humanitarian sphere. It was emphasized that the cultural and literary heritage of Makhtumkuli Fraghi contributes to the strengthening of relations between the peoples.
