Negotiations with the Head of the EBRD Representative Office were held in Turkmenistan

Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova held talks with Eric Livni, head of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) on November 29 this year. This is reported on the official website Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

At the meeting the issues of communication and development of dialog between Turkmenistan and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development were raised. The parties discussed the EBRD strategy for Turkmenistan for the next five years.

A number of projects planned to be implemented jointly with public and private structures of Turkmenistan were also touched upon. The parties exchanged views on such areas of work as water resources, "green" cities, development of energy infrastructure, and development of logistics routes.
