Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers

On November 29, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers to consider a number of issues of state life, TDH reports.

In the course of the meeting the Chairman of Mejlis D. Gulmanova informed about the preparation for the forthcoming meeting of the National Parliament on November 30 of the current year, where it is planned to discuss the draft Law "On State Budget for 2025" and the resolution of Mejlis "On execution of the State Budget for 2023". At the same time, the agenda will include draft laws on administrative offenses, labor relations, the legal status of the Ombudsman, civil service, taxes, currency regulation and currency control in foreign economic relations, international treaties of Turkmenistan, ratification of agreements signed by our country in the field of foreign policy, accession to international conventions.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Kh. Geldimiradov reported on the measures taken to audit the annual financial statements of the country's banks.

In this regard, a proposal has been submitted to the Head of State for his consideration.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of further improvement of banking activities and expansion of the range of services provided by the country's credit institutions. Approving the proposal to announce an international tender on audit of banks in the mass media, the head of Turkmenistan instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to carry out the necessary work in this direction.

Then, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B.Amanov reported on the practical steps taken to maximize the potential of specialized enterprises of the State Concern "Türkmennebit", their modernization and creation of new production facilities specializing in deep oil refining.

Having reported on the implemented comprehensive measures to improve the water supply system of Seyda Oil Refinery, Deputy Prime Minister submitted a relevant proposal for consideration of the head of Turkmenistan.

Having approved the proposal to modernize the water supply system of the Seyda oil refinery, the head of state instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to take appropriate measures in this direction.

Then, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atakhallyev reported on the ongoing work in the agricultural sector and seasonal campaigns in the velayats of the country.

Then Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Annamammedov reported on the preparations for the International Day of Neutrality in Ashgabat.

As it was reported, on the eve of the holiday all measures are being taken to turn the main city of the country into a blooming garden, create the most favorable conditions for cultural leisure of residents and guests of the Turkmen capital, and hold the planned festivities at a high level.

In turn, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers N. Atagulyev reported on the preparation of the trade complex for the International Day of Neutrality and the New Year.

As reported, from December 5 this year, it is envisaged to organize festive trade in the markets and shopping centers of the provinces, cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, as well as more than 850 mobile outlets throughout the country. In this regard, a relevant proposal was submitted to the head of state for consideration.

Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered on the occasion of the International Day of Neutrality and New Year holiday to take necessary measures to fully meet the needs of the population for various goods at the markets. At the same time, the Deputy Prime Minister was instructed to organize mobile trading outlets, to provide markets and stores with sufficient food products, including vegetables and vegetables, fruits and berries.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers M. Mammadova reported on the ongoing preparations for the Regional Meeting of International Experts on the inscription of the Caspian branch of the Great Silk Road on the UNESCO World Heritage List, which is planned to be held on December 6-7 by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs together with the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO.

Then, Deputy Chairperson of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Orazdurdyeva reported on the measures taken to create an electronic journal "Lukmançylyk ylmy we innowasiýalar" of the Turkmen State Medical University named after Myrat Garryev.

As reported, the proposed publication in Turkmen, English and Russian languages is planned to be published twice a year on the relevant web page, which will ensure access to it for a wide readership.

Having approved the proposal to establish a scientific electronic journal "Lukmançylyk ylmy we innowasiýalar", the Head of State instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to take necessary measures for this purpose.

Then the floor was given to the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs R. Meredov, who reported on the ongoing preparations for the next meeting of the Strategic Advisory Council "Turkmenistan - United Nations", established with the support of the President of Turkmenistan in March this year.

As it was reported, within the framework of the forthcoming meeting it is proposed to discuss the developed programs on the development of partnership of our country with the UN and relevant documents. In particular, the drafts: the Framework Program of Cooperation between Turkmenistan and the UN in the field of sustainable development for 2026-2030; the Joint Program of UN agencies "Youth, Peace and Security"; the National Action Plan to combat human trafficking in Turkmenistan for 2025-2029; Joint Programs with UN agencies in Turkmenistan in such areas as climate change, reduction of methane emissions, "green" energy and digitalization.

Then Director General of the Agency of Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers M. Chakyev reported on the draft State Program on ensuring aviation safety of Civil Aviation of Turkmenistan, prepared in accordance with international treaties of our country, standards of the International Civil Aviation Organization and the Air Code of Turkmenistan. The head of the Agency submitted the relevant proposal for consideration of the head of state.

Having approved the submitted proposal, the head of Turkmenistan instructed the head of the Agency to carry out the necessary work.

Continuing his address to the members of the Cabinet of Ministers, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov said that a new book "Hakyda göwheri" by Hero-Arkadag has been recently published, which widely highlights the glorious past of the ancestors, the exemplary path of great personalities who left an indelible mark in history, and glorifies the unity of our people. A special place is given to valuable historical information about the significant contribution of the Turkmen people to the world civilization, the head of Turkmenistan stressed, cordially congratulating the National Leader of the Turkmen people and all the participants of the meeting on the publication of the book "Hakyda göwheri".
