Turkmenistan considered the issue of obtaining AEO status

The State Customs Service of Turkmenistan held a meeting to consider obtaining the status of an authorized economic operator. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

During the meeting, entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan were familiarized with the changes in the customs legislation of the country, in particular, with the new chapter of the Customs Code "Authorized Economic Operator".

AEO status is granted to a legal entity that is a participant in the international movement of goods and is recognized by the national customs authority as meeting the requirements of the Framework Standard for the Safety and Facilitation of Global Trade or a similar supply chain. AEO will ensure a high level of security, covering all participants in the international movement of goods, from producer to consumer.
