A workshop on the use of speech synthesizer was held in Turkmenistan jointly with UNICEF

From January 8 to 12, the Innovation and Information Center of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan jointly with UNICEF held a series of seminars on the use of speech synthesizer in Turkmen language for visually impaired people. This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The presented program can be used for educational purposes, including screen reading and access to websites. The program allows you to convert Turkmen text into speech using special technology.

The speech synthesizer was first introduced in November 2023 - on World Children's Day.
The program was developed by the Ministry of Education together with the Global Partnership for Assistive Technology "ATScale", the Society of the Blind and Deaf of Turkmenistan, the Louder Pages company (producers of RHVoice) and UNICEF Turkmenistan.
