Turkmenistan hosted an event in honor of India's Unity Day

The Embassy of India in Turkmenistan together with the Ministry of Culture organized a solemn event in honor of the Unity Day of India, which was held on November 1 this year. This is reported by the Internet edition AsmanNews. 

The event was attended by the staff of diplomatic missions accredited in Turkmenistan, cultural figures and representatives of various government agencies. Indian Ambassador to Turkmenistan Madhumita Hazarika Bhagat expressed gratitude to the Turkmen side for the support in the development of cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the countries.

Speaking at the celebration, Deputy Minister of Culture of Turkmenistan Nursakhat Shirimov noted that the relations between the states have reached a higher level, which was facilitated by the efforts of President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi.
