Students of higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan take part in competitions in the latest fijtal sports (soccer, table tennis, basketball, chess), as well as in cyber sports. The competitions are held in honor of the International Day of Neutrality. This is reported by the online edition "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age."
Innovative areas of fijital and cybersports are becoming increasingly popular in the world, as evidenced by the holding of the first Games of the Future in 2024 in Kazan. Turkmen athletes took part in these international Games in fijital basketball and fijital soccer.
Today's competitions on innovative sports, which are held in the sports complex of the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports, will give an opportunity to identify talented promising athletes to participate in the qualifying rounds of the "Games of the Future" in 2025, which will be held in the UAE.
