The premiere show of the musical "Grinch" based on the fairy tale of the same name by American writer Dr. Seuss was held in the Cultural Center of Oil and Gas Complex in Ashgabat. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
The fairy tale "Grinch" is the first work of the creative team "Alba", created by Atageldy Rozyev, a 4th year student of the Conservatory, and Kovus Byashimov, a 3rd year student. The main role in the performance was played by Dovran Shammyev.
Various specialists were involved in the production - professional arrangements were created, librettos were written and spectacular costumes were made. The children selected by casting rehearsed with the chorister and choreographer, after which they were replaced by the adult cast.
According to the representatives of the collective "Alba", in the future it is planned to stage the epic "Leyli and Majnun" in the pop version, as well as musicals "Aladdin" and "Beauty and the Beast".
