Japanese company Kawasaki Heavy Industries aims to expand cooperation with Turkmenistan

Today, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Senior Advisor for Strategic Affairs of the Japanese company Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd. Tatsuya Watanabe. This is reported in the broadcast of the news program Watan.

During the meeting, Mr. Watanabe congratulated the head of Turkmenistan on his recent birthday, conferment of the title of Hero of Turkmenistan and the country's Independence Day. He wished Turkmenistan further peace, prosperity and success.

President Berdimuhamedov thanked the Japanese guest for his warm wishes. According to him, this visit will contribute to the development of relations between Turkmenistan and Japan.

The head of Turkmenistan noted that the programs of industrialization and diversification of the national economy are aimed at producing high-quality competitive products based on scientific developments and experience of such developed countries as Japan.

Kawasaki Heavy Industries has been successfully operating in Turkmenistan for many years, cooperating with the state concerns Turkmenhimiya and Turkmengaz.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Mr. Watanabe expressed interest in further cooperation on new projects in the oil and gas and chemical industries. The representative of the Japanese company emphasized that they are ready to offer their technological experience to the Turkmen market.

At the end of the meeting the interlocutors expressed confidence in continuing effective cooperation and wished each other good health, family prosperity and new successes.
