Economic observer V. Trapeznikov spoke about the growth of Turkmenistan's exports

Economic observer on Turkmenistan Valentin Trapeznikov told about the growth of Turkmenistan's exports in the first five months of this year. This is reported on the Centralasia.news website.

Turkmenistan mainly exports its products to China, Russia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, CIS countries, Europe and Asia. The volume of foreign trade turnover for 5 months of 2023 amounted to $8 billion, which is 8% more than last year, there are prospects to exceed the indicators of pre-pandemic 2019.

The main export commodity of Turkmenistan is natural gas. The volume of gas exports increased by 14.8% compared to last year. An impressive share of the export volume is occupied by oil refined products.

The expert also noted the growth of electricity exports - for five months of this year it increased by 10.8% compared to last year's data.
