President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a telephone conversation with the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on June 29.
The Turkish leader congratulated the Chairman of Halk Maslakhaty on his birthday, wishing him health, prosperity and success in state activities. Erdogan noted the great contribution of the National Leader of the Turkmen people to the strengthening of friendly relations between the two countries and conveyed greetings to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
During the conversation, the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the Republic of Turkey is one of the close, brotherly states of Turkmenistan.
The interlocutors noted the long-term and strategic nature of the dialog between the two countries, which is based on the common language, culture and spiritual values. The leaders emphasized the importance of regular visits of government delegations and consultations at the level of agencies for strengthening interstate cooperation.
Chairman of Halk Maslahaty thanked Recep Tayyip Erdogan for his personal contribution to the development of relations between Turkmenistan and Turkey.
At the end of the conversation, the leaders exchanged wishes of health, successes in state activity and prosperity to the fraternal peoples of both countries.
