Today at the age of 58 the honored coach of the Russian Federation Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov died. Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov in Telegram wrote words of condolence to the loved ones of the father and coach of UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, stressing that Nurmagomedov senior raised worthy pupils.
A. Nurmagomedov, 57, was taken to a Dagestan hospital with pneumonia in late April. On May 3 he was transferred to a Moscow medical institution. According to Khabib Nurmagomedov, his father was in a serious condition as of mid-May.
During his coaching years, A. Nurmagomedov managed to bring up many fighters, including his son Khabib and I. Makhachev, acting in the UFC promotion.
