The volume of capital investments in the economy of Turkmenistan increased by 24.6%

During the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan held on July 14, Minister of Economy and Finance S. Jorayev presented a report on work in the first half of 2023. According to the Minister's report, the state budget of the country for the first half of this year was executed by 113.1%, the expenditure part of the budget - by 97.6%. The local budget was executed by 100.6%, the expenditure part - by 98.2%.

Over the past period, 54 meetings of the Balance Commissions were held, 42 of which were regional.
The volume of capital investments in the development of the national economy increased by 24.6% compared to the same period last year. 49.6% of capital investments were directed to the construction of production complexes, 50.6% - to social facilities.

As of July 1 this year, the construction of 82.3 km of engineering networks, 244.4 sq.m. of housing and 360.3 km of communication systems has been completed under the National Rural Program.
