Kazakhstan voiced its position at the Caspian forum in Turkmenistan

Kazakhstan highly appreciates the contribution of each Caspian littoral state to the development of dialog and intends to actively continue successful and equal interaction in the Caspian Sea. This was stated by Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Turkmenistan Yerzhan Musraliev on the margins of the scientific-practical conference "Caspian Sea - Partnership for Sustainable Development", held August 12 in the National Tourist Zone "Avaza", reports the correspondent Arzuw.news in Ashgabat.

Musraliyev first of all noted that the common patrimony and heritage of ancestors - the wise and blessed Caspian Sea - has always been a sea of friendship, peace and mutually beneficial cooperation. Kazakhstan is invariably committed to these principles and will continue to contribute to strengthening friendship and good neighborliness in the Caspian region.

According to the diplomat, the Caspian Sea is not only a vast pool of useful resources, but also a "sea of unlimited opportunities. That is why today the Caspian littoral states are actively working together on a wide range of five-sided cooperation, including the development of trade and economic cooperation, strengthening security, preserving the ecosystem, protecting the marine environment and conducting joint scientific research.

In this regard, Musraliev recalled how the distinguished President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov during his speech at the Sixth Caspian Summit on June 29, 2022 in Ashgabat emphasized that the meetings of the heads of the Caspian littoral states are invariably held in a friendly, trusting atmosphere, they have become a real and influential factor in regional and world politics.

Summarizing, the speaker emphasized that Kazakhstan highly appreciates the contribution of each state to the development of dialogue and strengthening of comprehensive cooperation.

"We intend to further continue the established successful, equal interaction with the participating countries for the benefit of our peoples," Musraliyev said.

The international scientific and practical forum is dedicated to the Caspian Sea Day, which is celebrated annually on August 12.
