The CACCR-2 project has been launched to ensure the health of the Central Asian region. From 2022 to 2025, students from Turkmenistan Medical University will be part of the team implementing the second phase of the project.
Hans Kluge, head of the WHO Regional Office for Europe, said that the project will not only develop a system to respond to the spread of COVID-19, but will also digitize the databases of medical institutions. Advisory groups will be established for some issues.
Digitalization and improvement of the healthcare system will help doctors to obtain patient information faster and thus speed up important medical decisions. It is worth noting that the CACCR-2 project is funded by the European Union.
