The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held a conversation with the Federal Minister of Austria

On February 16, 2023, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov met with Alexander Shallenberg - Federal Minister of European and Foreign Affairs of Austria in the format of videoconference. The sides exchanged views on the current state and prospects of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Austria. During the meeting, the representatives of the two states noted the importance of bilateral visits and high-level and high-level talks in expanding the areas of constructive partnership.

Rashid Meredov stressed that relations between the countries are successfully strengthening due to the participation in the activities of international organizations, in particular, the UN and the OSCE. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan also proposed concrete measures to develop and strengthen trade and economic relations, emphasizing the important role of business circles in this process.
