On Monday, October 28, Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov met with representatives of the United States Department of State to monitor and combat human trafficking in the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed a wide range of humanitarian law issues, in particular those related to the implementation of international conventions and compliance with universally recognized norms. The sides exchanged views on promising areas of cooperation. In this regard, the constructive and systematic nature of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the United States was noted.
