The project of construction of a new high-speed highway on the route Sarakhs - Mary - Serkhetabat was presented at the international universal exhibition "White City Ashgabat". This is reported by the Internet publication "TurkmenPortal".
The length of the new highway will be 450 kilometers, it will have four lanes with a total width of 27.5 meters. According to the founder of the construction company Amanmukhammet Ojarov, the new highway will allow increasing the cargo flow from the territory of Turkmenistan and speed up cargo transportation. It will also contribute to the development of transport links with neighboring countries.
Currently, the stakeholders are studying the areas of the proposed road construction, preparing conceptual designs of the road and facilities placed on it.
