The issues of scientific and humanitarian cooperation between Turkmenistan and Georgia were considered

On March 11, 2024, Turkmen Ambassador to Georgia Dovletmyrat Seyitmammadov met with Rector of Sukhumi State University Zurab Khonelidze on the development of scientific and humanitarian cooperation. This was reported by the TurkmenPortal online publication.

The issues of establishing direct inter-university dialog and exchange of professional experience and knowledge were discussed during the meeting. The Ambassador informed about the planned events on the occasion of celebrating the 300th anniversary of the birth of Makhtumkuli Fraghi, which will contribute to the popularization of the literary heritage of the Turkmen classic and expansion of international cultural and humanitarian cooperation.

The rector of the Sukhumi university noted the broad prospects for strengthening ties with Turkmenistan in the spheres of science and education.
