Turkmenistan's new smart city celebrates Novruz for the first time

The young "smart" city of Arkadag, Turkmenistan, is celebrating the National Spring Festival - International Novruz Day for the first time this year. This is reported by the Internet publication "TurkmenPortal".

A festive event dedicated to the International Novruz Day was held in the city's building of public organizations. Political figures, representatives of parties and public associations of the city took part in the festive event in honor of the National Day of Spring.

The speakers noted the special significance of this ancient traditional holiday and its traditions in strengthening peace, harmony and well-being of the peoples. The cultural program included performances by students of the Sakha Dzhepbarov Special Art School of Arkadag city.
