New medical facilities to be built in three cities of Turkmenistan

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a number of decrees on the construction of modern medical facilities, the news agency "Westiabad".

The Ministry of Health and Medical Industry will conclude a contract with Turkish company "Gap Inşaat Yatirim ve Diş Tisaret A.Ş." for the design and construction of a 500-bed multidisciplinary hospital in Ashgabat. The complex will be equipped with modern equipment, provide for landscaping and staff training. Construction will begin in October 2025, and completion will be in February 2029.

There will also be a 300-bed inter-etrap hospital in Tejen and a 400-bed Maternal and Child Health Center in Dashoguz. Their construction is entrusted to "Şadyýan gurluşyk" company. The works will start in October 2025 and are expected to be completed by October 2028.

Project implementation is aimed at developing the national health care system and expanding the population's access to modern medical services.
