Agrarians of Dashoguz province of Turkmenistan have started planting winter garlic on the territory of 780 hectares. This is reported by the Internet edition "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age."
The largest amount of garlic is planned to be grown by farmers of Akdepi etrap, where it is planned to harvest 1,680 tons of garlic. In Boldumsaz etrap and S. Turkmenbashi etrap it is planned to get 1200 tons of garlic each. When growing garlic, farmers of Dashoguz province follow the recommendations of Turkmen scientific experts, carrying out works in accordance with all agrotechnical norms.
Garlic cultivation meets the tasks set before the agro-industrial complex of Turkmenistan to increase agricultural production and ensure food diversity.
