The UN Country Team in Turkmenistan has begun work to familiarize citizens with information related to COVID-19. According to the organization's press service, providing objective information is necessary to prevent the dissemination of false information that does not correspond to reality.
During December-2021, UN representatives in Turkmenistan conducted information work on COVID-19: prevention, revaccination, variants of the virus, myths about the disease, dealing with the consequences of the pandemic, etc.
In turn, WHO and UNICEF held a series of meetings to share the importance of prevention and vaccination with people with disabilities.
At the events, experts answered participants' questions about social distance, masks, hand disinfection, and myths about the pandemic, among other things.
