Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Russian Federation Esen Aidogdyev and his newly appointed colleague from Spain Ricardo Martinez Vasquez met in the capital of the Russian Federation. This was reported by the online edition AsmanNews.
During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed the prospects and areas of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Spain, highlighted the positive experience of interaction in the political and diplomatic sphere, including in the framework of dialogue with international organizations. The head of the Turkmen diplomatic mission familiarized his Spanish counterpart with the main principles and directions of the peacekeeping policy of neutral Turkmenistan.
The sides noted the importance of political consultations held at the level of the heads of diplomatic missions of the two countries. Agreements were reached to continue working contacts.
