Ambassador of Turkmenistan presents CIS Secretary General with a commemorative sign in honor of the 300th anniversary of Makhtumkuli

On November 6 this year, CIS Secretary General Sergey Lebedev received a commemorative sign "Makhtumkuli Fagi 300 Years". The sign was handed over in Moscow by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Russian Federation Esen Aidogdiyev. This is reported by the online edition "AsmanNews.

The sign was presented in Moscow by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Russian Federation Esen Aidogdiyev. Earlier, on October 10, the relevant decree was signed by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

Sergei Lebedev was awarded for his significant contribution to popularizing the works of the great Turkmen poet and philosopher Makhtumkuli Fraghi, establishing relations with Turkmenistan within the CIS, work to strengthen friendship and cooperation between the brotherly peoples.

The award ceremony was one of the numerous events held in Turkmenistan and other countries in honor of the 300th anniversary of the birth of Makhtumkuli Fraghi.
