Turkmenistan celebrated the harvest festival

In Ashgabat on November 6 this year in the Center of Public Organizations of Turkmenistan was held an event "Harvest Festival - the basis of abundance", dedicated to the end of the harvest season. The event was attended by representatives of government agencies, farmers and journalists. This is reported by the Internet edition "Westiabad."

The event was organized by the National Trade Union Centre of Turkmenistan together with the Central Council of the Women's Union and the Agrarian Party of Turkmenistan to support farmers working to ensure the country's food security.

As part of the event, an awarding ceremony was held for farmers who have achieved high performance in the agricultural sector. Among them, Bahargul Gurdova, a resident of Lebap velayat, who breeds silkworms, was honored.

The program of the event also included musical numbers to demonstrate the ancient traditions of Turkmen culture.
