From April 10 to 12, 2024, a representative of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan took part in the international conference of parliamentarians on the planned implementation of activities on the IPCI/ICPD Population and Development Fund, which was held in Oslo, Norway. This is reported in the online publication "Türkmenistan habarlar portaly".
The participants of the international conference exchanged views on reproductive health and maternal and child health care, discussed principles and methods of realization of women's rights and gender equality for the country's achievement of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.
The Turkmen representative of the Mejlis informed the conference participants about gender equality activities carried out in Turkmenistan.
