The OSCE organized a seminar in Ashgabat on the establishment of a business ombudsman institution in the country and the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of business entities. This was reported by the TurkmenPortal online publication.
The event was attended by members of the Mejlis, representatives of the Ombudsman's Office, the Institute of State, Law and Democracy, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, specialized ministries and universities.
Examines the experience and prospects for the development of this mechanism, which is already in operation in OSCE member countries. Examples are given of the practical digitalization of the system for the protection of entrepreneurs' rights.
Important topics include opportunities to support women's entrepreneurship.
