Niyazov is completing a two-week internship at the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers. This is reported by the publication Turkmenistan: Golden Age.
Two teachers and 20 students from Turkmenistan participated in the educational program, which took place from 6 to 17 July. Half of the students represented the Faculty of Hydromelioration, the rest - the Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization.
The main objective of the internship was practical application of theoretical knowledge and strengthening of partnership between educational institutions of the two countries. The participants familiarized themselves with modern educational technologies, including the digital Smart Solutions System LLC, and studied advanced water management equipment.
Professor Ilkhom Begmatov and colleagues from the Tashkent Institute gave the guests specialized classes on irrigation, mechanization and engineering solutions in the agricultural sector. The program also included visits to the academic buildings, laboratories, museum and sports facilities.
This internship was a return visit after the Uzbek students' stay in Turkmenistan from June 25 to July 4. At that time, 16 representatives of the Tashkent Institute, including 2 teachers and 15 students, studied the experience of their Turkmen colleagues.
Mutual educational programs are implemented on the basis of the Cooperation Agreement concluded between the universities in April 2018. Representatives of the Turkmen university emphasized the importance of such initiatives for the development of bilateral cooperation in the field of agrarian education.
