The representative of Turkmenistan held a meeting with the Secretary General of ISSA

Vepa Hajiyev, Turkmenistan's permanent representative to the UN Geneva office, and Marcelo Abi-Ramia Caetano, Secretary General of the International Social Security Association (ISSA), met in Switzerland on October 25. This is reported by the Internet edition "Westiabad."

The meeting discussed the development of cooperation in issues related to social protection and security of the population in modern times. The parties expressed their views on the prospects for cooperation in this area.

Marcelo Abi-Ramia Caetano noted that Turkmenistan's experience in developing projects on social support and protection of citizens is an excellent model for other countries.

Vepa Khadzhiev thanked the International Social Security Association for cooperation, emphasizing its importance for constructive exchange of experience and application of best practices of social policy.
