President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent a congratulatory message to Governor General of Canada Mary Simon on Canada Day, which was celebrated on July 1.
In his address, the Turkmen head of state expressed his best wishes to the Canadian people on the occasion of the country's national holiday.
President Berdimuhamedov wished Governor General Mary Simon good health, happiness and personal well-being. The Turkmen leader addressed his wishes for peace, further progress and prosperity to the people of Canada.
Canada Day is the country's main national holiday, marking the anniversary of Confederation and the unification of the British colonies into the Dominion of Canada in 1867.
