President Serdar Berdimuhamedov met yesterday with Kenji Sanada, Executive Director of the Japanese company "Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd." to discuss the prospects of expanding trade and economic cooperation between Turkmenistan and Japan.
The Japanese side highly appreciated the favorable conditions for doing business in Turkmenistan and the country's achievements in economic modernization. Kenji Sanada congratulated the head of state on the two-year anniversary of Arkadag city, noting the significant development of the new administrative center.
The sides emphasized that trade and economic ties remain one of the priority areas of cooperation between the two countries. Interaction between the business circles is reaching a qualitatively new level and is successfully increasing.
During the meeting, the great contribution of Japanese companies to the realization of the economic potential of both Turkmenistan and Japan was noted. President Berdimuhamedov emphasized the country's openness for business cooperation with Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd.
The head of state expressed confidence in further realization of new mutually beneficial projects with the Japanese company, which will contribute to strengthening economic ties between the two countries.
