President of Turkmenistan congratulated on the start of the 16th Iran Agrofood Specialized Exhibition

The President of Turkmenistan congratulated the participants of the exhibition and conference on the start of the 16th Specialized Exhibition "Iran Agrofood" of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Turkmen-Iranian Business Forum organized in Ashgabat, TDH reports.

The President of Turkmenistan expressed confidence that these large-scale events will give a significant impetus to further expansion of trade and economic ties, strengthening of friendly and fraternal relations between Turkmenistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran based on the principles of good-neighborliness.

In his congratulatory message, the Turkmen leader noted that the Islamic Republic of Iran occupies an important place in the foreign trade turnover of Turkmenistan. This is clearly evidenced by the steady growth and increase in the range of export and import goods between our countries.

- Cooperation in such sectors as fuel and energy complex, transportation and communications, industry and agriculture is effectively developing. The regular holding of specialized exhibitions and business meetings, which has become a tradition, is of great importance for expanding bilateral cooperation, promoting new projects of interaction between public and private enterprises and increasing trade turnover, the congratulatory message says.
