Today, September 27, the President of Turkmenistan participated in the ceremony of laying flowers at the Independence Monument in honor of the national holiday - the 32nd anniversary of the country's independence. This is reported by turkmenportal.com.
The solemn events began in the National Independence Park, where the national anthem of Turkmenistan was played, after which Serdar Berdimuhamedov laid a wreath at the commemorative plate. Following the President, members of the Government, representatives and leaders of the Khalk Maslakhaty, heads of foreign diplomatic missions, honorary elders, students, members of public organizations, khakims of provinces and Ashgabat, military men and numerous residents of the Turkmen capital laid flowers at the Independence Monument.
Foreign guests of Turkmenistan, who came to the country specially to participate in the festive events dedicated to the Independence Day, also paid tribute to the sacred places of Turkmenistan.
