An online meeting was held between representatives of relevant departments of Turkmenistan and the World Tourism Organization (WTO) on the creation of a tourist brand of Turkmenistan. This is reported by the Internet publication "Vestiabad".
The meeting was attended by specialists from the Tourism Department of the Ministry, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Germany, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Finance and Economy, as well as teachers of the Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, WTO experts noted the wide tourism potential of Turkmenistan. It was emphasized that the development of sustainable tourism in the country is one of the important steps towards the country's integration into the global economic, cultural and information space. Special attention was paid to the need to develop a strategy to promote the brand "Turkmenistan".
